Hey guys, been a while, missed this place and missed x so im back baby

quick question. i am thinking of staring a whiskey fact and want to place it in argon space, is that legal? and if my ships get scanned what happens to my ratings? do they go down or are they unaffected?

Hiya orillian, welcome back

I think whisky is illegal in Argon space, but it may have changed. I am sure someone will correct me if am wrong.

I used to put my whisky and weed plants in the sector east of cloudbase northeast (you have to go through the destroyed sector, Pressidents End, to get to it from the cluster of systems around Argon Prime) but it is a short journey and in Split space I believe, where they are both legal. I remember getting a lot of trade in that system. Good luck and don't forget my share of the booze

ok so what would happen to my rating?

the goods are illegal fine, but what would actually happen if i place the factory?

when i get enough cash i might just find out

if I recall corectly, your factories wont get any penalties, just ships that are cought with the whisky get a penalty. I can't remember what the penalty is but I will try to find out for you or another member may know the answer, sorry I can't help more but I have not played any "X" game for 4 years.
