Probably already known to all of you, but anyway.
I found a Complex Calculator (online), which also allows you to select the sector you want to build in. http://home.wolfsburg.de/kprohrbeck/eng/x3tc.html I am planning to build this Space Fuel Distillery in Anigone Memorial: Space Fuel Distillery Complex - Antigone Memorial (Cost: 57,271,252) OR Space Fuel Distillery Complex - Antigone Memorial (Bigger) (Cost: 120,884,724) If you have ideas for good complexes, feel free to post them here! -------------------- |

I am currently building the complex... Got the 2 SPP XL's, 4 Chip plants, 2 Silicon mines and 2 Cattle (L) and 2 Argnu Beef (L) fabs.
Just need a 2 Cattle (L) and 2 Argnu Beef (L) fabs more and then I can add the Weed producing stuff. Instead of Space Fuel I decided to produce Space Weed. Hah, the Argon are already drunk enough on their own Space Fuel, but Space Weed, they don't have. And, I can use it to overtune my ships at the Maurauder. That Boron engineer is VERY addicted. Could not find a tractor beam anywhere, so I had to build my own factory. That will take very long to finish though... Still 19 hrs production time to go. -------------------- |

In the first X3 I made most of my credits from combined spaceweed and space whisky factorys.
In fact some sectors had 2 if they couldnt cope!! I even made a bit of free money by getting a police licence and stopping my customers leaving the factory. They drop the cargo and I instruct one of my freighters to collect it and return it to the factory. You can only do this once or twice per customer though! I found the hassle of making all your own energy a bit tiresome especially if there was a good supply of spp factories and it can be just as easy to buy. I couldnt get on with the tractoring of asteroids to get them to the right place and had to reload a few times when my perspective of the mine was different to where the game thought it was!! (**BOOM**) -------------------- |

In the first X3 I made most of my credits from combined spaceweed and space whisky factorys. Yeah, I had this as well, I think I had about five 4x4 complexes (whiskey only though) throughout the galaxy. Then the market was cornered. Space weed, I never produced before. About time I tried that one.In fact some sectors had 2 if they couldnt cope!! I even made a bit of free money by getting a police licence and stopping my customers leaving the factory. They drop the cargo and I instruct one of my freighters to collect it and return it to the factory. You can only do this once or twice per customer though! Now THAT is evil... (**BOOM**) I did the same... No energy. I just bought it. Don't know why I decided to produce my own now. Must have been flying too close to the sun.-------------------- |

AARGH. I made a stupid mistake... I added Chip Plants instead of Crystal fabs.
Now I have to add more fabs to make it work. New plan: Space Weed - Chip Plant Combo complex for Idiots EDIT: Modified the Master Plan: Master Plan Made another planning error. I had selected SPP's for 0% sun. When corrected, I had extra opportunities... Let's call it opportunities, but basically it's extra work. It has become quite a big complex, producing Space Weed, Space Fuel and Microchips. All in all a great money maker. Almost perfect, if not for the shortage on Crystals. However, the CAG will buy some of those. This post has been edited by CreHater: Apr 21 2010, 03:38 PM -------------------- |
