Hi Guys,
For me the experiance has been just like buying a new car ...the same model I had but with new toys as standard and a different colour :) What I mean is that its familiar but new and it feels just like the old model but better... Well Done Egosoft !! I've clocked around 36 hrs playing time and I have played a plot game..namely the Terran start and , I like the guidance bit as if unsure what comes next you can always check and also follow the arrows. Issues with TC seem to be framerate as with X3 when it was new but a patch is already available to address this. In actual fact the game has two patches already. I'm enjoying the experiance ... hows about you ? any thoughts ? Dick. -------------------- |

I'm enjoying it as well, already got myself a Terran corvette (forgot name :p) before starting the plot and am working on it right now. Though I've sense stopped to do station defense missions which are insanely fun... except when there are so many darn ships that it overloads my CPU and GPU.. man the frame rate hit!!

Finally back in the saddle. Seat actually.
So far, I like it. It will all depend on the Complex Building in this game. Haven't done much really, just started the Terran Defender missions. Only got about 10.000 creds, and a fully upgraded cargo bay for the Sabre. I get used to it pretty quick though. Nice user interface. Still wondering about the framerates. I've set all to medium, and keep my fingers crossed for the first big battle... Cheers, CreHater. -------------------- |

You all make me want to play again. But sadly I don't have much time atm, keep posting about this upgrade though as I just may make the time if the posts stay possitive.

Been playing a lot more by now. Just when I carefully scrounged up 10.000 credits with trading, I ran across a mission. Wham: 9.000+ credits.
Those missions were too easy: Protecting a station. The enemy keeps attacking the station and does not defend against your atacks. What's that? Plain stupid. Anyway... trading is a waste of time in the beginning. Just do missions and presto. Now I already have captured 4 Xenon L's, a Hauler, and a Nova. Sell, sell, sell and starting to upgrade and fix up the Nova. I think I already made over a million credits. I have spend it all though. One stupid thing: You can only dock a few ships at a shipyard. Then they start undocking and docking. Very annoying if you want to sell ships or transfer freight... Overall, the game is great. Better than Reunion. My next goal: Get the Nova up and running (fully equipped). Still trying to find good scripts. I miss the Extra BBS missions for Overtuning your ships... Cheers, CreHater. -------------------- |

Hah, I restarted... I found that the Terran start was too easy. I now play as Bankrupt Assassin. I always end up doing that anyway.
What makes it interesting is that there are Bounty Hunters constantly attacking me... Difficult, until I got my second 25MW shield installed. FUN! -------------------- |

Hey all,
I started to play this after xmas, (had it back in may sometime, but couldn't run it anyways so far i've managed to complete the Terran start and the Final Fury plots, but then restarted again, thanks to finding more scripts and mods to try! last count was 20 odd scripts/mods and 9 libraries to make it all run! so far no conflicts....... anyways I think I'll leave my ramblings there! catch you all laters Ben -------------------- |

Further in the game now. Fortunately, the bounty hunters stopped. I think I killed all of them.
I am flying a Nova Raider, but hopefully I can find a better M3. Or overtune it (Marauder, or Traveling Mechanic script). Still need to run across those though. Now I have 22 million in the bank. I am saving up for a Mammoth. Still 10 million to go to buy and upgrade one. Then... Complex building in Antigone! Got lots of captured ships now. All docked at sectors with Equi docks. Two Universe traders and two Universe Explorers (nice script). And I have found the starting point for the story missions. Doing those now. Great game! Very nice interface. -------------------- |
